An enjoyable, easy & relaxing way to be creative!

Beginning this month I will now be teaching 2 Casual Drawing and Watercolour Painting Classes on a Saturday morning from 11.00am-1.30pm at the Juno Creative Studio in Marrickville – The first class will be on 14 March and the second on 28 March – I will also be holding an Open Studio every Thursday morning in March at Juno Creative from 10.30am-1pm … and the theme for this month’s workshop will be ‘Working with 3 Colours’.

CASUAL WATERCOLOUR & DRAWING CLASSES/OPEN STUDIOS
I am able to teach all styles and techniques from detailed botanical drawing and painting through to abstract. During these Casual Classes students can work on any subject they are interested in trying, with my guidance. You are welcome to bring something from home if you wish and each week I provide inspiration eg, fresh flowers and other items – I also have an extensive range of photographic reference and books that cover every topic and technique.
You may just want to work on your own project in the company of others and that is fine too, it’s just meant to be an enjoyable and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours.
*$45 if you bring your own art materials or $50 if you need me to supply all these – includes a morning tea which I provide – and beginners are welcome! I also offer 5- and 10-class Discount Class Passes for regular students with their own art materials.
*Regular students with a Discount Class Pass can use one credit from the pass for any Casual Classes or Open Studios.

March Drawing & Watercolour Workshop
‘Working with 3 Colours’
Wednesday 18 March – 10.30-1pm
Marrickville venue to be confirmed
This workshop is going to be a very useful and practical one of drawing, colour mixing and watercolour painting and I plan to do more in the future on this challenging topic. Using a limited colour palette of three colours – a yellow, a brown and a green – we’ll start off by creating a colour chart to use as reference and students will then move on to drawing and painting a few simple items chosen from a range of different things I’ll be providing to inspire you.

$70 – All art materials and reference supplied so there is no need for you to bring anything at all – cost includes a morning tea and is suitable for all levels – beginners are very welcome! PLEASE NOTE: Regular students who have their own art materials and one of my Discount Class Passes can use two credits for this workshop.

PRIVATE TUITION: As well as my regular classes, I also offer the option of one-on-one tuition for individual students who feel they need more personal attention. Please email me if yourself, your partner, a relative or friend feels they could benefit from this & you would like to know more.

REFUND POLICY: To cover my preparation time plus the costs for the venue hire; supplying art materials and providing reference material and refreshments – I require where possible a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you are cancelling. Depending on the circumstances there will be no refund of the booking fee for a cancellation received less than 24 hours prior to the class.
