I will be holding Casual Drawing & Watercolour Painting Classes/Open Studios during June. The ‘winter’ theme for this month’s Watercolour Workshop will be painting a ‘3-Colour Watercolour Snowscape ‘.

CASUAL WATERCOLOUR & DRAWING CLASSES/OPEN STUDIOS
These Casual Classes/Open Studios are open to all ages and skill levels from absolute beginners to those with more experience. You can work on any subject, style or technique you are interested in doing with my help and guidance or you may have your own project but enjoy working in the company of others. I am able to teach all styles and techniques from detailed botanical drawing and painting through to abstract. You are welcome to bring something from home if you wish and each week I provide inspiration eg, fresh flowers and other items – I also have an extensive range of photographic reference and books that cover every topic and technique. Work at your own pace – it’s just meant to be an enjoyable and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours!
*$40 if you bring your own art materials or $45 if you need me to supply all these – includes a morning tea which I provide – and beginners are welcome! I also offer 5- and 10-Class Discount Class Passes for regular students with their own art materials.
*Regular students with a Discount Class Pass can use one credit from the pass for any Casual Class/Open Studio.

JUNE WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP

‘3-Colour Watercolour Snowscape’
SUNDAY afternoon 28 JUNE, 2pm-4.30pm
Monster Mouse Studios – 7 Sydney Street, Marrickville

In this workshop you will learn how to paint in watercolours a simple snow scene using a limited palette of just three colours! We’ll start off by working on a simple colour chart to give you an idea of the range of colours that can be achieved. Then using a photograph of a snowscape for your inspiration you will create your own watercolour painting. Relax and sip on a glass of Prosecco while you paint!

LATE CANCELLATIONS/REFUND POLICY: To cover my preparation time plus the costs for the venue hire; supplying art materials and providing reference material and refreshments – I require where possible a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you are cancelling. Depending on the circumstances there will be no refund of the booking fee for a cancellation received less than 24 hours prior to a class, open studio or workshop.
