The 54th Annual City of Ryde Art Society Exhibition

24 OCTOBER TO 31 OCTOBER 2014, open daily 10am – 5pm and 10am – 8pm on Thursday

This exhibition opened last Friday, 24 October, and will continue till Friday 31 October. I have entered 8 artworks in the sections of Watercolours, Drawings, Small Paintings and Printmaking. My botanical watercolour study of a Curry Tree leaves, berries and flowers received a Commended Award on the opening night. This is a very interesting annual exhibition with a wide range of styles and medium on show to suit everyone’s tastes so try to get along to see it before it finishes on 31 October. The exhibition is located in the North Ryde Community Hall, 201 Coxs Road, North Ryde.

‘Self-Contained’ exhibition opening tonight, Friday October 24

Remember that plain cardboard packing box I posted a couple of weeks ago that I had to transform into whatever I liked for Gallery Red’s ‘Self-Contained’ latest exhibition? Well, here’s a glimpse of the final result. Come along to the exhibition opening tonight, Friday October 24, from 6-8pm, to see what the other 20 participating artists have created with their box, should be a really interesting one. Hope to see you there!

Gallery Red is located at 3/333 Parramatta Road Leichhardt (underneath the Mission Australia building on the corner of Parramatta Road & Hay Streets, entrance in Hay Street).
