Remember that plain cardboard packing box I posted a couple of weeks ago that I had to transform into whatever I liked for Gallery Red’s ‘Self-Contained’ latest exhibition? Well, here’s a glimpse of the final result. Come along to the exhibition opening tonight, Friday October 24, from 6-8pm, to see what the other 20 participating artists have created with their box, should be a really interesting one. Gallery Red is located at 3/333 Parramatta Road Leichhardt (underneath the Mission Australia building on the corner of Parramatta Road & Hay Streets, entrance in Hay Street).

For those of you who might be up on the Central Coast over the weekend it’s time for the Annual Wyongah Progress Association Art Show at the Wyongah Progress Hall, 159 Tuggerawong Road Wyongah, which I am exhibiting in again this year. The exhibition will be open from 9am to 9pm on Saturday October 18, with the official opening and refreshments from 5.30pm, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday October 19. It’s a great opportunity to support the local arts community and see a diverse range of artwork which will all be for sale.
